Previous Story:

After dropping their first two games of the season, the ECU Pirates have a tough task Saturday as they welcome the number 16th ranked Virginia Tech Hokies to town for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.

ECU will look to avoid its first 0-3 start since 2004.

Although the Hokies are a three touchdown favorite heading into the matchup, Virginia Tech certainly won't take ECU lightly. The Pirates have won two of the last three games against the Hokies, including a 35-28 win in Greenville in September of 2015.

The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.

The Pirates will be back on the road next week in a Sunday matchup against Connecticut. Kickoff from East Hartford September 24th is set for 12:00 p.m.
