Pet of the Week: Clyde

GREENVILLE, NC (WITN) - This week's featured Pet of the Week from the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina is a 2-year-old terrier mix named Clyde.

Volunteers say that Clyde's good looks and scruffy beard may pull you in, but his sweet personality will keep you hooked!

He will need a family that can keep up with him; he can be quite strong and energetic. Clyde has done well with house training. He has been in a home with another dog, so he seems to do well with canine companions.

While on WITN's News at Sunrise, Clyde made quite an impression on Anna and Jim when he slipped out of his collar and took a few moments of freedom to explore our enclosed patio! Clyde loves attention and proved to Anna that he knows how to 'sit.'

You can visit the HSEC adoption center to meet Clyde. It is open Friday - Sunday from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

You can also visit the society's website, www.hsecarolina.org.

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina brings adoptable animals every Wednesday at 6:25 a.m. on WITN News at Sunrise.
