JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - With the holidays around the corner, one local outreach group is trying to encourage others to spread some of the same holiday cheer that we get to experience here in the states.
The Jacksonville collection center for Operation Christmas Child, a branch of the nationwide Evangelical group Samaritans Purse, is now accepting donations of filled shoe boxes for children across the world.
The boxes can be filled with things like small gifts, school supplies and hygiene items.
They will be delivered Christmas day.
You can drop off your box from November 13-20.
