Neuse River flooding closing downtown New Bern streets

NEW BERN, NC (WITN) - Flooding in advance of Hurricane Florence has already flooded parts of downtown New Bern.

South Front Street in front of the New Bern Convention Center is closed, along with East Front Street.

Many downtown businesses are boarding up and are hoping sandbags will help keep the water out.
