National Pancake Day benefits Children's Miracle Network

EASTERN CAROLINA (WITN) - Today is National Pancake Day and IHOP restaurants are celebrating across the east by offering 'pancakes with a purpose' to benefit the Children's Miracle Network.

From 7am-7pm, IHOP is offering free triple stacks of pancakes.

Customers then have the option to donate to the Children's Miracle Network in three different ways.

You can purchase a paper balloon coupon for $5 that is worth $5 off during your next trip to IHOP. Customers who pay with a credit/debit card will see an additional line on their receipt for write-in donations and CMN staff will be on hand at each location in Eastern Carolina accepting cash donations.

There are five IHOP locations in ENC that benefit our local CMN chapter: Greenville, New Bern, Morehead City and two restaurants in Jacksonville.

The Children's Miracle Network in Greenville, NC raises money to support children from all 29 counties in Eastern Carolina that find themselves in need of care at the James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital at Vidant Medical Center.
