GREENE COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A Greene County home was destroyed in a fire Tuesday afternoon.
Greene County Fire Marshal Berry Anderson says they got the call around 4:30 p.m. When they arrived at 146 Morgan Lane near Snow Hill the doublewide was engulfed in flames.
It took crews from seven departments to put out the flames.
Anderson says no one was home at the time and there were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Multiple crews are on the scene of an active structure fire in Greene County.
Reports of a fire came in around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at a home on Morgan's Lane off of Four Way Road.
Rescue crews have a portion of Four Way Road blocked off near Nethercutt Road.
