Man dies when car crashes into his Raleigh home; driver charged with DWI

RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) - A man has been killed after a car crashed into his Raleigh home, while the driver has been charged with DWI.

Raleigh police spokeswoman Donna-maria Harris said in a news release the crash happened around 12:15 a.m. Friday.

Harris said none of the three children in the home were hurt.

The victim's name has not been released.

Police arrested the driver, 19-year-old Etgar Bautista-Montoya, for multiple charges.

The Raleigh teen is charged with driving while impaired, driving after consuming alcohol under the age of 21 and felony death by vehicle, according to police.

He's in the Wake County jail on a $160,000 bond.
