Man charged with setting Tyrrell County fire

TYRRELL COUNTY, NC (WITN) - A Winston-Salem man has been charged with setting a fire that destroyed an old supply building which had been a home to several homeless people.

Tyrrell County Sheriff Darryl Liverman says Dusty Lucks has been charged with unlawful burning of other buildings.

He is accused of setting the September 11th fire that leveled the old Enterprise Supply on U.S. 64 outside of Columbia.

The 37-year-old Lucks was arrested earlier this month by Kernersville police for unrelated charges in Forsyth County.
