KINSTON, NC (WITN) - Authorities have caught two men wanted in a Friday afternoon shooting in downtown Kinston.
Around noon today, Marquis Williams and Reiguan Williams were arrested outside of Petersburg, Virginia.
The two are accused in the drive-by shooting Friday afternoon on West Lenoir Avenue. Ma'quez Jones, 21, and 59-year-old Betty Taylor, of La Grange, were both hit by gunfire.
The U.S. Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force, Prince George County Police and Virginia State Police arrested the two at a motel.
Kinston police say they're still investigating whether the two Williams' are related.
Two people were shot this afternoon on a street behind a Kinston McDonald's restaurant and police now are looking for two suspects.
The shooting happened around 1:35 pm on West Lenoir Avenue, just behind the West Vernon Avenue McDonald's.
Police are looking for Marquis Williams, 24, and Reiguan Williams, 20, both of Kinston. They are wanted on four counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and three counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle.
Officers say the two men fired shots from a vehicle intending to shoot 21-year-old Ma'quez Jones.
Jones was hit by the gunfire, along with the driver of a car that had stopped to speak with Jones. That victim, a 59-year-old woman from La Grange, has been sent to Vidant Medical Center. Police say two other people in that car were not hit by gunfire.
Police say that Jones and the two Williams' are all known to each other.
Both victims, according to police, are expected to recover.

Two people were shot this afternoon on a Kinston street that's behind a McDonald's Restaurant.
Officers first responded to a "shots fired" call near the intersection of Herritage Street and West Lenoir Avenue around 1:35 p.m.
A crime scene was set up in front of The Shops at Nantucket, that is behind the West Vernon Avenue McDonald's.
Police say one victim was taken to Vidant medical Center, while the second victim was being treated at UNC Lenoir Health Care.
Employees working at a nearby business said they heard multiple gunshots. They hit the floor and then saw a woman outside who had been shot in the side. Employees said they then called 911.
Police say more information will be released on the shooting as it becomes available.
