Hundreds of students show off STEM projects in Eastern Carolina

KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - More than 400 Eastern Carolina students showed off months of work in science, technology, engineering, and math projects Friday.

Those competitions judged everything from software coding to children's story illustration skills.

Projects like model dragsters were put to the test against other schools' works.

It all happened at the Eastern Region NC Technology Student Association Conference at Lenoir Community College.

Students came from 24 regional middle schools.

Judges critiqued student work like these model airplanes in more than 15 different categories.

This is the Eastern Region NC TSA's annual regional conference.
