9:00 A.M UPDATE.: We have a temporary signal and tower up. Dish customers can not receive our signal. Our transmitter is good and working. The satellites are still not aligned properly but we have someone scheduled to be here this morning to see if the issue can be fixed at the tower at our studio. If it cannot be fixed at our studio, crews will have to climb up our 2000 ft. tower in Grifton to investigate. We apologize once again, but are working diligently to get back on air to our viewers.
7:35 P.M. UPDATE: WITN should be back on the air. MeTV (7.3) and MyTV (7.2) should be restored soon.
6:00 P.M. UPDATE: While we do not have an exact time that this will be resolved, we are working with third party vendors to try to fix this problem as quickly and safely as possible.
ATTENTION VIEWERS: We have received your complaints (especially Dish, DirecTV and TWC customers) that you can not pick up our signal. It looks like our signal dishes on the tower at the station are no longer aligned with our major satellite tower in Grifton and therefore all distribution systems other than Suddenlink will not be able to see us.
We have crews at our station and satellite tower trying to fix this issue and hope to be back on the air as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding.
