Greenville police to host community outreach program

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - A local law enforcement agency is reaching out to the community it serves with a special meeting Tuesday.

The Greenville Police Department's Community Relations Committee will hold a town hall meeting at 6 p.m. at the Eppes Recreation Center on Nash Street. The three-part meeting will open with a meet-and-greet with officers who work in the West Greenville area.

The second part of the meeting will be a presentation N.C. Civil Presentation-Westgate Project and Community Pipeline Project. The meeting will close with a question and answer session that will allow the public to share concerns with officers.

Jermaine McNair will serve as speaker for the project presentation. A question and answer period will follow after the presentations.
