Goldsboro man charged with trafficking $70,000 worth of drugs

GOLDSBORO, NC (WITN)- A Goldsboro man is behind bars on a million dollar bond after deputies say he was found with about $70,000 worth of drugs.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested Antonio Parker, 28, on Tuesday.

He's facing drug trafficking charges related to the possession of heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana.

During a search, deputies say they found about sixty grams of heroin, three ounces of crystal meth and four ounces of marijuana. The drugs are believed to have a street value of about $70,000 and that amount of heroin is equal to about 3,000 individual doses.

Deputies say the drug investigation is ongoing and may result in further arrests.
