Four charged with Bath robbery two months later

BEAUFORT COUNTY, NC (WITN) - Four people have been charged with holding up a store more than two months ago in Bath.

Beaufort County deputies say the White Post Store on Highway 92 was robbed back on September 29th.

Deputies say they had very little to go on until just before Thanksgiving investigators received a tip about one of the robbers' identity. They set up surveillance on the suspect and three others, eventually being able to arrest two of the people on possession of drug paraphernalia charges.

After interviews, deputies say they got enough information to make arrests in the store robbery.

Christopher Dempsey, 28, of Washington, is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $51,000 secured.

Also arrested were Crysta Lusk, 24, Gene Foster, Jr., 40, and Kathy Davidson, 45. The three were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy and their bonds were set at $15,000 secured.
