First Flight High School - Cole Breit

COLE BREIT
BIOGRAPHY:
My name is Cole Breit and I was born February 15, 1998. I have lived my whole life on the Outer Banks and have enjoyed living here. I attend First Flight High School and graduate June 10, 2016. I live with both my parents, Barry and Debbie Breit, have two older brothers, Andy and Noah, in college and a younger sister, Noelle, in elementary school. I attend Duck United Methodist Church and play in the praise band for Sunday mornings. I’m a leader of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at our school. FCA helps sports teams get fed, meets every wednesday morning, and occasionally hosts a community event. In 2008 I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. After two years of colonoscopies, hospital stays, and two surgeries, the doctors realized that I actually had Crohn’s Disease and I had been misdiagnosed. I had to grow up pretty quickly through these experiences and learned many lessons about life. I believe God had/has a huge plan for me and has been changing me into the humble man I am today.
