FARMVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - Farmville Police have made a third arrest in connection to an assault and robbery that took place on January 29.
Officers arrested Danielle Barnes, 21, of Ayden, on Tuesday.
Barnes is charged with: First Degree Kidnapping, Felony Conspiracy, First Degree Burglary, Robbery With a Dangerous Weapon and Assault with a Deadly Weapon Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury.
Officers responded to a home on West Marlboro Rd. on January 29 for a report of an assault and robbery.
Farmville Police initially charged two other people, Jason Strader and Shirley Kaminski, in the case and said that additional arrests were possible.
According to arrest warrants, Barnes is believe to have conspired with Strader and Kaminski to commit robbery.
Officers believe Barnes broke into the home between 1:30am - 2am on January 29 and stole a wallet containing $800 cash, an additional $85 and a watch valued at $1000 from a man inside the home. That man was also reportedly assaulted with a metal dust pan and left with serious injuries.
Barnes is being held on a $150,000 bond and is scheduled to make her first appearance in court Wednesday morning.
Farmville Police arrested two people in connection with a robbery that happened Monday.
Officers responded to a robbery on Marlboro Road where one person was assaulted on Monday, according to a press release.
Farmville Police say Jason Strader and Shirley Kaminski were identified as suspects in the case and taken into custody around 3:45 p.m. Sunday.
Both Strader and Kaminski are facing several charges including first degree burglary, robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, first degree kidnapping and felony conspiracy.
Both are being held at the Pitt County Detention Center under a $1.5 million bond.
Police say they expect to make additional arrests in this case.
