GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - It's a creative summer camp for kids that aims to improve their math and science skills.
ECU School of Art and Design is hosting it's week long STEAM camp. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
Kids from kindergarten to high school are trying their hands at computer design and 3D printing, while others were learning about casting using clay and melted crayons to create personalized designs.
The camp aims to use creative arts and activities to introduce kids to math, science, and engineering concepts in a hands-on fashion.
Other activities the kids can try include scientific illustration, pendulum painting, and digital photography.
