GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) - An Eastern North Carolina college will play host to a special guest Tuesday.
Governor Roy Cooper will pay a visit to Pitt Community College Tuesday. He is expected to arrive at 1 p.m. While on campus, Cooper will tour the Walter and Marie Williams Building and talk to staff, students and employers about how the college prepares students to join the workforce.
Cooper will participate in a round table discussion with local employers, students and school leaders on workforce development. Student ambassadors will also show Cooper the benefits of PCC's science, technology, engineering and math programs, which prepares students of all ages to join the workforce.
