Convicted drug dealer sentenced to 49+ years in prison

HAVELOCK, NC (WITN) - A Craven County Superior Court jury has sentenced a convicted drug dealer to serve more than 49 years behind bars.

Michael Bradley, 38, of Havelock, was sentenced to serve between 49.5 and 62.5 years in prison, according to District Attorney Scott Thomas who made the announcement Thursday.

Bradley was arrested in December of 2015 after Havelock investigators, Carteret County Sheriff's deputies and Morehead City police served a search warrant on his home and found 55 grams of heroin, two loaded firearms and $9,000 cash in an open safe.

Authorities also say they'd conducted three separate undercover buys from Bradley at the location.

He was also sentenced to pay a $500,00 0 fine.
