CHARLOTTE, NC (WITN) A woman and her eight-year-old daughter who have been missing from Charlotte since Monday have been found safe in St. Louis.
Charlotte police say Megan Stack, and her daughter Ava, were last seen Monday as the mother picked up this child from school.
This morning, Charlotte police say Stack went to an EMS station outside St. Louis and asked to be taken to a hospital to be evaluated.
Authorities are working to reunite the eight-year-old with other family members.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say 33-year-old Megan Stack left her home around 1:30 yesterday to pick up her daughter, Ava, and she has not been heard from since.
Authorities say they are concerned about their safety due to Megan's emotional state, which they did not elaborate on.
A Silver Alert has been issued for Megan.
She is believed to be driving a silver 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe with a paper tag that has license plate number 234.
Authorities are not sure of their direction of travel.
