WASHINGTON, NC (WITN) - A car slammed into a medical facility this afternoon causing some damage to the building.
It happened around 12:45 p.m. at Vidant Internal Medicine Washington, which is about a block from the hospital on Highland Drive.
A Vidant spokeswoman says thankfully no one was injured after the car jumped the curb and struck the brick wall of the building.
The facade was damaged and at least two windows were broken out by the impact.
The hospital says there was no structural damage to the one-story building and patients were able to be seen as scheduled.
