Authorities arrest suspect in robbery case, looking for two others

KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - One person has been arrested and two others are on the run in connection with a robbery that reportedly happened last month.

Joint efforts by Kinston Police and Wilson County deputies has led to the arrest of James Hall in connection with the Jan. 16 armed robbery of A to Z Cellular in Kinston. Hall has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the case.

Kinston Police say a masked man armed with a handgun stole $700 from the business on Phillips Road. Two weeks later, Wilson County deputies got a tip about possible suspects in the case, leading to Hall's arrest.

Hall was jailed under $150,000 bond. Warrants were also issued for Frenchie Hooks Jr. for robbery with a dangerous weapon and second-degree kidnapping. Warrants were also issued for Terresa McDougald for conspiracy to commit robbery in connection with the case.
