Amber Alert canceled for 3-month-old girl from Haywood County

HAYWOOD COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Authorities say the Amber Alert for 3-month-old Cali Marie Cochran has been canceled. No further details have been provided at this time.

A state-wide Amber Alert has been issued for a missing 3-month-old girl last seen in Clyde.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children says 3-month-old Cali Marie Cochran was taken by Rex Cochran Jr. and Heather Cochran. Rex is described as a 39-year-old man with brown hair and brown eyes.

Heather, 31, has brown hair and green eyes. She has a tattoo on the right side of her neck that says “faith.”

The missing infant is white, has brown hair, is 20 inches tall and weighs about 10 pounds.

The Department of Public Safety says they could possibly be traveling to Ocala, Florida or Valdosta, Georgia in a blue 2001 Ford Mustang or a gray 1999 GMC Suburban K1500.
