Event Dates and Times
Ocracoke BAr And Grille with 1718 Brewing
For immediate release,
The Ocracoke Bar And Grille would like to announce:
The Third Annual Ocracoke St. Patrick's Day Parade will take place on Saturday March 17th.
The Pre-Gaming activities will start at 1718 Brewing at 11:30 am. There will be plenty of fresh brew and tomfoolery to be enjoyed by all. Mingle with the crowd, tailgate, meet friends and make new ones. Check out the rest of the whimsical characters and creativity of the other participants while you begin to celebrate the day with a few fresh local brews from 1718 Brewing.
The parade procession will start about 1:30pm and be led by the Ocracoke Leprechaun and Grand Puhba of Tomfoolery! The parade will continue on to Ocracoke Bar And Grille where the winners will be announced and prizes awarded while enjoying the traditional plate of corned beef and cabbage, green beer and all your other favorite beverages.
There is no registration, no paperwork to sign, just be in the parade line when it begins. If your float/group/individual effort catches the eye of the Ocracoke Leprechaun he could hand you a bucket of cash (too many gold coins got heavy for the Leprechaun so we traded it for Cash). $550.00 Cash will be awarded to the float, group or participant the Leprechaun deems his favorite. If you are unhappy with the Leprechauns decision, you can try again next year. New this year he will also award a 2nd and 3rd place prize.
Ocracoke Bar And Grille would like to encourage all island businesses on Ocracoke to display any of your marketing material, rack cards or brochures inside and outside Ocracoke Bar And Grille during this event. If you have a banner you would like to display, we welcome that as well. Any businesses wishing to donate prizes are encouraged and much appreciated.
With well wishes for a prosperous 2018 season, happy St. Patrick's Day from the staff and crew of Ocracoke Bar And Grille, 1718 Brewing and special thanks to Mark Reisinger of Allstate Financial Services MarkReisinger@Allstate.com

I am emailing you today to see if I could use some of your help with my graduation project. My project is on Multiple Sclerosis and I am trying to bring awareness of this condition during the month of March. To show others through anything you can accomplish anything and make your dreams possible. I want to show awareness in my own way. I am going to designate a week in March and every day of that week is going to represent something different. I was inquiring to the possibility that WITN could cover my event and broadcast it on television. I was planning on having a walk for MS to help bring awareness.
