Volunteers Serve Christmas Meal At Greenville Shelter

It is the season for giving and helping others and that's just what some folks did in Greenville Christmas day.

A Christmas meal was served to those in need at the Greenville Community Shelter. Volunteers brought in food, helped to serve, and cleaned up.

Shelter coordinators say their goal is not only to provide a delicious meal for those at the shelter, but to also provide a happy Christmas atmosphere. There were Christmas decorations, music, and a Christmas tree.

Volunteers say it's great to be able to give back to those in need and those who received the food said they were extremely grateful.
