Arrghhh! Pirates Takeover Uptown Greenville

It was a swashbuckling good time in Greenville Saturday as many pirates came out for the 5th annual Piratefest.

There were international foods, entertainment, arts, crafts, and goods vendors.

It was a great family event with tons for adults and kids to do.

WITN is a proud sponsor.

Are these the best negative comments you clowns can come up with ? Where's Dave? His ignorance always shines through! With that being said I thought it was a great event.

Maybe next year they will have clog dancers dressed as pirates. Big fun. Great turnout!

My kids had a great time at PirateFest! It was a nice event for families. The fossil dig was a hit!

It doesn't matter if ECU is affiliated with this or not. You just can't reason with some people. They will take any chance to bad mouth ECU...even though they have nothing to do with this. They speak all the time with no facts to back anything up. It is really predictable and boring.

ECU has nothing to do with PirateFest, the university isn't affiliated with this event.

It is time for a positive comment...I enjoyed it last year and this year. I saw others that were having a good time (vendors, visitors and participants) even with the cloudy and cool day yesterday. I like what Greenville is trying to do with the uptown area. Time and schedule permitting I will be there next year!!

Liked it and the Ports O'Call if the weather had been nicer may have been a better turnout.A pirate ship battle on the river would be pretty cool or maybe the pirates attacking the town from the river would spice it up.

This whole event was weak. I am really disappointed in Greenville and ECU.
