Many people came out Saturday to the Greenville Town Commons for the 2nd Annual Eastern Run Walk for Autism.
Participants got the opportunity to run in the 5k race or 1 mile walk/run.
It's organized by the Autism Society of North Carolina. All proceeds are donated to programs across Eastern Carolina that help individuals living with the disorder.
Coordinator, Rachel Leventhal, said she was excited about the amount of support coming in compared with last years race-- "It's been a really successful day today--we have doubled our profits from last year and we're almost tripling."
