Children of Marines stationed at a North Carolina base will finally be able to hunt for Easter eggs.
The rescheduled Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday night at Camp Lejeune. The event includes entertainment as well as hunting in the dark for eggs.
The event was originally scheduled to be held April 3, but bad weather forced its postponement.
The 2nd Marine Division said more than 2,000 military family members attended the event last year at Camp Lejeune.
It is the largest family event of the year at the coastal base.
Along with the egg hunt, families will be entertained by clowns, bands and Easter bunny mascots.
The event will be held on W.P.T. Hill Field, across from the base headquarters building.
