High school has been an amazing experience; I have been number one in my class all four years of high school and will graduate this year as Valedictorian. While maintaining my academics, I have been extremely active in school. I am president of the Senior Class, as well as the National Honor Society, and Health Occupation Students of America. With HOSA, I have attended the State Leadership Conference twice, and have placed within the top three both times, allowing me to attend the National Leadership Conferences. Outside of school, I have traveled with People to People Student Ambassador Programs internationally as a Student Ambassador for the United States. I was also honored as the 2012 Military Child of the Year for the Marine Corps for my loyalty, adaptability, responsibility, and service in my community.
I cannot wait to move on and accomplish more during my years at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I hope to continue volunteering with various organizations like Onslow County Parks and Recreation, and Partnership for Children. My family and friends have provided me with enormous support and they are the most important people in my life. No matter what I do, I know I will succeed with them behind me.
