Morgan Simpson

BIOGRAPHY:
Hello! My name is Morgan Simpson, and I am a senior at Plymouth High School. Over the four years that I have attended Plymouth High School I have been a part of diverse extra-curricular activities and clubs, such as Students Against Destructive Decisions, volleyball, Health Occupations Students of America, Future Farmers of America, and Math Club. In addition, I am the treasurer of my school's National Honor Society.

I have aspired to take part in many diverse volunteer opportunities, such as volunteering at the local Nursing Home and tutoring to young children. I believe that by being a part of such volunteer activities has helped me gain new perspectives in life and become a well-rounded individual. However, I have truly been rewarded by being an active member of my local church. I believe that because of my faith and the influences within my church I have been provided a strong foundation in life and a greater sense of who I am.

I am both thrilled and nervous to embark on the next steps in my life at East Carolina University, and I wish to go forth with both courage and humbleness. Courage to do what is right, and the ability to never forget my humble beginnings. I pray that my future is bright with wonderful opportunities, and that I am able to excel in my dreams. I am truly thankful for the opportunity that I have been given, and I wish bright futures for everyone.
