During my years in high school, I have tried to participate in a variety of activities. I played tennis on the varsity team, I was elected as an officer for Student Government and Key Club, helped with Bible School, and focused on volunteering. I was lucky to be able to travel with my International Studies class to Denmark and my Spanish class to Spain. This was very interesting to me, being able to learn about world cultures from within them.
I would like to thank everyone around me who has helped me during my years in school. I am excited to begin my studies at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill next year, but I know that it will be a major adjustment, being away from the supportive community that I grew up in.
