Hey everyone! My name is Kasey Tooley, and I am a senior at the Beaufort County Early College High School. My mom, Angie Tooley, lives in Pinetown and my dad, Ray Tooley, lives in Hyde County. After I graduate, I plan to attend NC State University to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Many people think that students at BCECHS don’t get to do normal things like other public school students; but that’s not true. I played softball and basketball for three of my high school years and volleyball for one with The Eastern Association of Christian Homeschoolers (TEACH). I also have been to many proms (at my school and other schools), elected Class President, and had the chance to participate in clubs such as The Gamma Beta Phi Society. The only difference between me and any other high school graduate is that I will be receiving an Associate’s Degree from the Beaufort County Community College along with my high school diploma. Outside of school, my interest include singing, playing guitar, wakeboarding, hunting, fishing, photography, volunteering with animals, spending time with my friends, my family and God. I also enjoy being involved with community events, such as Relay for Life, in both Hyde and Beaufort County. With one foot in Beaufort County and the other foot in Hyde County, I have a very busy and well-rounded lifestyle. I am honored to be representing BCECHS’ Class of 2013 and wish all other graduates the best of luck. We did it!
