Ashley Daw

Hello everyone, my name is Ashley Daw! I am honored to represent Wilson Christian Academy for the WITN class of 2012. I have been very involved at my school and in my church throughout high school. I have played volleyball for five years and have been on two volleyball state championship teams. I have also played basketball for five years and been on one basketball championship team. I have had the opportunity to play with some wonderful girls at WCA.

I am very involved at my church, White Oak Hill. This year I have had the opportunity to co-teach a Sunday school class of 4-5 year olds. I love teaching them about God and hearing their sweet, heartfelt prayers. They are all little geniuses and they say the most adorable things!

God has given me a love for missions as a result of my going on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic last spring with my Spanish class. While there, we were able to hold Vacation Bible School in an orphanage and saw two kids accept Christ as their Savior!

This fall I will be attending NC State and majoring in Human Biology with hopes of attending med school after I graduate. I plan on being very involved at NC State in various Christian organizations, pre-med clubs, and the Women in Science and Engineering program. I can’t wait to see how God uses medicine and my love for missions in the future!
