Taylor Scott

BIOGRAPHY:
As a high school student I have been blessed with many opportunities, academic and extracurricular. Hard work and determination have allowed me to maintain the ranking of first in my class. I have enjoyed cheering and holding leadership positions throughout high school. Recently I was voted senior class president as well as National Honor Society President. I also serve as a huddle leader for my school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Managing Editor of the Yearbook. I have been afforded opportunities to travel and represent my school. Being involved in Project K-Nect, a smartphone initiative, has allowed me to participate in speaking engagements before state and national panels. I was also featured in Fast Company Magazine and on Lifetime Television’s series “The Balancing Act.” Through HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) I was able to travel to Anaheim, California to compete at the National Medical Photography Competition. Community service is important to me. I have volunteered with many organizations, committing more than 100 hours to Onslow County Parks and Recreation. Founding Inside Out is one of the biggest service projects I have taken on. This nonprofit organization provides free clothing to teen girls in need. The ministry is continuously growing and has donated over 1,800 items to those in need. God has been the center of my life. I give him the glory for all my accomplishments and am also very grateful for the support of family and friends who have contributed to my success.
