Michelle Osta

BIOGRAPHY:
My name is Michelle Osta, and I am honored to have the privilege of representing the Class of 2012 at South Central High School. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Eastern North Carolina soon after. Within school, I have been a part of several clubs such as National Honor Society, National Spanish Honors Society, Math and Science Honor Society, Link Crew, HOSA, and the Health Sciences Academy. I also held the honor as Chief Junior Marshal last year. I have danced since I was little, and I am proud to be a part of the dance studio at Greenville Civic Ballet. I have also participated in Pitt County’s Distinguished Young Women, where I placed in scholastics and interview. I am an active member at St. Peter’s Catholic Church and my youth group, Lifeteen. Each summer I participate on a weeklong mission trip with them to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In addition, I travel with my family to Lebanon, where I am from, to visit my relatives for a few weeks. I will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall, and my goal is to become a medical doctor. I would like to thank my parents for supporting me in everything that I have done. I would also like to congratulate South Central’s Class of 2012 for coming this far. The experiences I have had and the friends I have made will last a lifetime. I know I can always say I am proud to be a falcon.
