Gavin Harrison
Academics have played a huge role in my life. I have taken many advanced classes at Riverside, as well as East Carolina University. I have always strived to do my best. Because of this, I have been awarded the Park Scholarship to NC State, where I will begin my studies in Human Biology.
I have been very avid in extracurricular activities. I have played on our tennis team. I have served as both a dedicated member and the president of RHS’s Beta Club, HOSA, Key Club, National Honor Society, Science Club, and SGA. I am also the Senior Drum Major of the marching knights.
For as long as I can remember, I have been committed to community service. Key Club accounts for a large part of my service hours, but I also had a personal volunteer project. With the help of many individuals, I organized and executed a coat drive to benefit my community. Overall, I collected and distributed over 600 coats.
These past four years have been an exciting journey. Although I will truly miss my high school times, I look forward to what the Wolfpack has in store for me.
