I have attended Northeast Academy since PreSchool. I have played Junior Varsity and Varsity football, basketball, and baseball from seventh grade through twelfth grade. Sports have been a big part of my high school career. They have taught me about leadership, focus, strength, determination, and endurance. I have had some great role models in my life that include my parents, teachers, and coaches. I was always told that hard work pays off.
While at Northeast I have chosen to take the most challenging courses to prepare me for college. I pride myself in being able to play sports and keep on top of my school work. I am president of the Student Council and I am a member of the BETA Club. My hard work has paid off as I will serve as Valdictorian for the class of 2012.
I wish to continue my education at the college level to obtain a degree and doctorate in the field of Physical Therapy with a concentration in sports medicine or Pediatric Endocrinology. I believe it is very important to get a quality education in today’s society. I would like very much to come back to work in the surrounding community.
I will be attending East Carolina University in the Fall and look forward to the new challenges.
