Alexis Briley

BIOGRAPHY:
My name is Alexis Briley and I am 18 years old. I am from Greenville, NC and live on a farm. I have an older brother and two older sisters, a brother in law, a sister in law, and two nephews. I am a senior at North Pitt High School where I am currently valedictorian of my class. I am very involved in 4-H and love anything involved with agriculture. I raise goats and horses through my 4-H projects. I also show at a local, state, and national level.

I am president of National Honor Society and president of FFA at school. I also work with special needs kids a lot. I volunteered at Rocking Horse Ranch Therapeutic Riding Center and Special Olympics in 2010. I have also volunteered my goats to be shown by special needs kids at different shows. I have been a part of the ECU Second Life Program for two years and will graduate from the program this year.

I will be attending NC State in the fall as an Animal Science major, with the hopes of going to vet school as a large food animal vet. I am very thankful for spending my four years at North Pitt and for all of my teachers and family who has gotten me through these past four years. I have enjoyed my time here and I will be forever grateful. Congratulations class of 2012 and good luck to everyone in their future goals.
