Sarah Daniels
My love for language comes from my father, who taught me Spanish as a young girl. From this inspiration I have not only mastered Spanish, but taken on other linguistic challenges, such as Latin and Danish. Since my first People to People trip to Europe in the 8th grade, my interest in international studies has flourished. Last year, I traveled to Denmark through a school partnership, where I met some of my best friends and was encouraged to learn their native language. I have also been incredibly blessed to travel to Spain this April. These trips have established my interests, as well as opened my eyes to opportunity and diversity. I am incredibly blessed to have had these experiences.
As an upcoming freshman I will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to major in Global Studies and minor in Spanish. Although I have no clue in regards to my career choice, I hope that I will be able to discover more opportunities at UNC. None of my accomplishments would be possible without my family, friends, and faith in God. I would like to thank them for always supporting me!
