Schuyler Edmondson

Athletics play a major role in my life. They have taught me the value of teamwork, leadership, and most importantly, hard work. I have competed in varsity sports since the 8th grade playing volleyball, basketball, and softball. Basketball is my favorite and I was named the Tarheel Independent Conference “Player of the Year” the past three years. I was also named to the NCISAA 1A All-State Team the past three years. Last season, my softball team won the NCISAA 1A State Championship! This year, I was chosen as the recipient of the Wendy’s High School Heisman for North Carolina.

In the fall, I plan to attend North Carolina State University and pursue a degree in Nutrition Science. I would like to give a huge thanks to everyone who offered support and guidance throughout my years at Hobgood, especially my family, teachers, coaches, and friends.
