Joel Conrad

BIOGRAPHY:
Hello, my name is Joel Conrad. I attend Greenville Christian Academy. My dream is to follow God’s calling to be a missionary. However, that dream was never my dream until the Lord made me realize that the best life is the one that He has laid out for His children. God created that dream on August 8, 2008 when He asked for all I had. Although I did want to do it, He convinced me that He could do much more with what I had than I ever could. On that night, He gave me my life verse, John 6:9- “There is a lad here which hath five barley loaves and two small fishes but what are they among so many?” I realized I did not have much to give him, but what I gave Him He had the ability to make it into so much more.

I will pursue that dream by attending Liberty University where I plan on majoring in intercultural studies. After I receive my degree, I plan to continue to the mission field where I pray the Lord will allow me to stay the rest of my life.

However, my dream though created by God was made possible through my parents. Thank you Mom and “Pop” for allowing me to realize and pursue my dream. Thank you for guiding me in what is right and what is wrong. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do. I love you!
