I am in the International Baccalaureate diploma program at Fike, and I can definitely say that school has been my focus the past four years! My favorite classes have been US History, Earth and Environmental Science, and Calculus. I’ve always made very good grades, and I hope to continue this trend in college.
Sports have played a huge role in my time as a high school student, too. I will admit that I’m not the best athlete, but I have enjoyed playing volleyball, golf, and track because of the coaches and teammates with whom I have had the pleasure of practicing and playing. It was great to know I had a team that was there for me when I had a bad day.
In addition to academics and athletics, I also participate in many clubs at Fike. I’m president of both National Honor Society and the Keywanettes, a community service organization. I’m also Vice-President of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Science National Honor Society. These clubs have allowed me to set a good example for my peers and be a representative of the values of these clubs to community leaders.
Congratulations Class of 2012!
