Courtney Hardy

Outside of the classroom, I attend the Greenville Civic Ballet studio where I have taken tap classes for the past three years. I enjoy volunteer work at Vidant Medical Center, the Ronald McDonald House, and a Time for Science Center with Bray Hollow. In addition, I have organized service projects for Relay for Life through D.H. Conley.

I have dreamt of a career in the medical field since the ninth grade due to my participation in the Health Sciences Academy and Health Occupation Students of America. I discovered my desire to become a hospital administrator. In order to achieve this, I will attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall of 2012 to double major in Biology and Health Policy and Management.

I have been blessed with a supportive network of family, friends, teachers, and counselors who have helped me realize my dreams. With their continued support, I know that I can achieve much in life.
