Hunter Brickhouse

BIOGRAPHY:
Hey my name is Hunter Brickhouse. I am 17 years old and a senior at Creswell High School in the town of Creswell, NC. I participate in a few activities at my school. I’ve been in FFA for all 4 years of being in high school. I’ve participated in Forestry and Ag Mechanics Competitions. Last year we came in 1st place at the District competition and hope to do the same this year. I was also recently inducted into the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society when it was restarted this year. After graduation I plan to go to Beaufort County Community College and work towards an Associates Degree in their Automotive Systems Technology program.

I’ve lived on the family farm all my life. I grew up helping with the hogs and crops. I love the solitude of living out in the country and wouldn’t trade it for anything. From helping my dad and papa work on the equipment I found my love for mechanics. I plan to be employed in a garage or automotive shop after gaining my degree and hope to eventually open my own garage.

In the summer of 2011 I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. I have been a scout in Troop 86 of Columbia, NC for almost 7 years. Not only has scouts taught me outdoor skills but it has taught me skills that can be used in everyday life and helped make me the person I am today.
