I am very active throughout my school. I am the president of the Senior Class of 2011. I have received various awards this past year. I was appointed the best defensive player on the girls’ varsity basketball team, I received the coaches award for cheerleading, and I won the most dedicated female athlete award.

I recently received a full ride scholarship to North Carolina Central University. I want to start out as a nurse, and then hopefully end up owning my on practice. Eventually, my family will no longer have to work and I will be able to provide for them. I would like to give back to my community one day.

Having such great friends and family has helped me a lot throughout my life. I have four good friends - Christain, Cherita, Briattani, and Tasheena - that I know will be there when I need them. These young ladies have had such a great impact on my life. Without them in it, I do not know where I would be. I have always been able to count on them no matter what. I personally want to thank them for all they have done to help me become a better person in life.
