BIOGRAPHY:
Hi! My name is Tristan Pike and I'm a senior at New Bern High School. I'm a paleo-eating, crossfit loving, vibram wearing, future Tarheel who just completed her first triathlon. Needless to say I'm very active and love to be outdoors. Hiking the Appalachian Trail is on my bucket list, as is competing at the Crossfit games, getting my technical scuba diving certification, being on Survivor, and competing at Rolex, a four star equestrian event. I've just finished my first sprint triathlon, so I might have to add completing an Ironman to that list.

This fall I will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and I'm incredibly excited for this new chapter in my life. I'm going in as decidedly undecided but with interests in nutrition, anthropology and exercise science. I very much look forward to researching human's paleolithic history and how it relates to our exercise habits and nutritional ideals in our modern day world.
I want to say a big "THANK YOU" to all my friends, family, and teachers who have supported and encouraged me all through out high school. I've learned more than I could have imagined, and I couldn't have done it without you.
