BIOGRAPHY:
My name is Alex Frankfort and I am a senior at Kinston High School. I have been very active in many of the organizations that my school offers over the years. I am the President of the National Honor Society and the Environmental Club and participate in the SADD Club, the Art Club, the Quiz Bowl Team, the Spanish Club, and the Spanish Honor Society. I play on the Varsity Soccer and Varsity Tennis Teams for my school, and I am the Captain of the Tennis Team. I am in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at my school, and I am currently on track to being the valedictorian of the Kinston High School Class of 2011.

During my high school life, I have been able to be active in my community in various organizations. I received my Eagle Scout Award in Troop 41 and continue to volunteer with this organization. I am also the President of the Westminster United Methodist Church Youth Group. During the summer between my junior and senior years, I was able to attend North Carolina’s Governor’s School for mathematics. I am planning to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall and major in computer science.

I want to thank all of my friends, family, and teachers for helping me get to where I am today. I could not have achieved all that I have without their support. I also want to say congratulations to the class of 2011!
