IF YOU WERE STRANDED ON A DESERTED ISLAND AND COULD ONLY TAKE ONE ITEM WITH YOU, WHAT WOULD IT BE?: My Bible
Shortly after we moved to Goldsboro, we started attending Faith Free Will Baptist Church. That fall, I became a student at Faith Christian Academy. When my family first came to Faith, I had no idea how much this church and school would impact my life.
I have been given so many opportunities through Faith. Every year, Faith competes in the Southeastern Association of Church Schools (SACS) competition. At SACS, I have competed in choir, chorale, dramatic monologues, biology, poetry writing, photography, piano, sewing, devotions, yearbook, short story writing, and physics. I have also competed in the NCCSA fine arts competition with my school. This year, my chorale won first place in the state, and I placed first in oral interpretation of Scripture, so I competed at nationals at Bob Jones University in those two categories. I won third in the nation for oral interpretation of Scripture.
At Faith Church, I am involved in the bus ministry, teen evangelism, choir, and children's ministries. Two years ago, I went on a missions trip to London. Faith will always have a special place in my heart.
