BIOGRAPHY:
My name is Trevor Thompson Brownlow and I am a lifelong native of Emerald Isle. I am currently a senior at Croatan High School in Carteret County. I will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall. I plan to double major in Business Administration and Public Policy (or a related field) and minor in Spanish.
My personal mission statement for college is to continue to be a lifelong learner with distinction, commitment, and a passion for helping others. I have a vision of being a catalyst for change on a global level. I have been blessed to give back to my local community through continued volunteer service with the Broad Street Clinic Foundation in Morehead City. Since I will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I would love to perform research and community service on a subject that may benefit others in our international communities. I will use the knowledge and skills I gain to improve the world in any way I can, large or small.
Growing up on a barrier island along the North Carolina coast has provided me with a deep appreciation of our natural resources and environment. I am an avid SCUBA diver, boating enthusiast, sailor, and kayaker. I am also a student pilot and plan on obtaining my pilot’s license this summer.
I would like to thank God, my parents, the team at Croatan High School, my friends, and my community for the lasting support.
