BIOGRAPHY:
My name is Eric David Beierlein. I’m a senior at Cape Hatteras Secondary School. I moved to Cape Hatteras when I was in the second grade and have loved it ever since. In the eighth grade I began playing basketball and instantly fell in love with the sport. Through the years I progressively got better and this last season was my best yet. I was the Varsity Captain and received an award for being an all-conference player. Some areas other than athletics that I have participated in during high school are NHS, DECA, and the Drama Club.

Before my time at Cape Hatteras three elder Beierleins had already attended the school. My older twin brothers Ryan and Scott, and my older sister Jessica. After me will be Kyle, my younger brother and the last of the Beierlein legacy. My parents are Harry and Barbara Beierlein. They’ve both been in the grocery business since I can remember. They were co-owners of The Village Grocery in Avon until recently selling their shares and moving on to different careers.

After my time at Cape Hatteras Secondary School I will be attending North Carolina State University. As of right now I’m an undecided major, but that will change soon. Until then…Go Wolfpack!
